Announcement of litigation and a potential compensation plan for the victims of sexual abuse perpetrated by Father Charles Henry Sylvestre Press Conference

The London law firm of Ledroit Beckett Litigation Lawyers will be holding a Press Conference at their offices located at 630 Richmond Street, commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2006. The purpose of this Conference is to announce litigation and a potential compensation plan for the victims of sexual abuse perpetrated by Father Charles Henry Sylvestre.
Father Sylvestre, an 83 year-old retired Roman Catholic priest, has recently been charged with a total of 42 counts of criminal offences by 33 female complainants. The sexual abuse occurred between 1954 and 1985. The victims all knew Father Sylvestre through his employment with the Diocese in the cities of London, Sarnia and Chatham.The victims were between the ages of 9 and 14 years of ages when the assaults occurred.
