- JANUARY 15, 2010 –

On November 9, 2009 Father Bernard A. Cloutier of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie was sentenced to five years imprisonment for the sexual abuse of four former altar boys. For those victims that event was an important, but not final, step on their journey of justice and healing.

The victims of Father Bernard Cloutier intend to announce the commencement of civil lawsuits at a Press Conference to be held on:

The Press Conference will take place in the Notre Dame Conference Room at the Radisson Hotel located at

85 St-Anne Road

in Sudbury.

Media, survivors and supporters are welcome to attend. Three of the complainants from the criminal prosecution of Father Cloutier and their lawyer Rob Talach will provide further details at the conference and will be available to answer any questions.
