Paul is a founding partner of Ledroit Beckett and the patriarch of the firm.
Paul works in all of the firms practice areas and currently heads the commercial litigation practice group. He has developed an expertise for helping victims of sexual abuse since winning the precedent-setting J.R.S. v. Glendinning case in 2004. He acts for a number of the victims of Father Sylvestre. Paul was born in London, Ontario. He attended The University of Western Ontario graduating with a Bachelor of Laws in 1969 and was admitted to the Bar in 1971.
Paul's practice is civil litigation.
He has for many years tried cases in all areas of civil litigation. With an emphasis on personal injury, sexual abuse victims, medical negligence, professional liability and insurance law, he has also been recognized as a leading practitioner in the areas of commercial litigation.
Paul is also a frequent lecturer in continuing legal education programs.
He has been certified by the Law Society as an expert in civil litigation since 1989
Outside of the practice of law Paul enjoys travelling to exotic locations, running and is a sports car enthusiast.
