Laura Camarra

bio imageLaura earned a combined Honours Degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario, where she graduated with distinction and was a member of the Dean’s Honour List. Laura completed the first half of her law degree at Queen’s University and the second half of her law degree at the University of Western Ontario. Laura obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 2008.

Laura joined Ledroit Beckett as a second year law student and has worked at the firm both full-time and part-time since 2007. While at Ledroit Beckett, Laura has practiced civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury and insurance defence work. Laura will be articling at Ledroit Beckett over the 2008/2009 articling term and is expected to be called to the Ontario bar in 2009.

Laura taught piano for a number of years before beginning law school. While attending at Queen’s Law, Laura was a volunteer with the Queen’s Legal Aid and the Women and Law Society. While attending at Western Law, Laura was a Big Sister with Big Sisters of London. In her spare time, Laura enjoys travel, tennis and music.
