Judy is one of Ledroit Beckett’s senior litigators with more than twenty years experience. Judy works in the personal injury group.
Born and raised in the London area, Judy lived in Windsor until 1988 when she returned to work in London. Judy is a graduate of the University of Windsor where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws in 1983. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985.
Judy has appeared in all levels of Court, including, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also mediated and arbitrated cases at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and has done 100s of private mediations to obtain compensation without going to Court.
Judy has lectured at the University of Windsor and Bar Admission course.
Outside of the practice of law Judy spends her time doing home renovation projects with her husband and playing with her grandchildren.
