Dallas is an associate at Ledroit Beckett.
Dallas works in the personal injury, insurance and professional malpractice groups and is also dedicated to representing victims of sexual abuse. From November 2005 to February 2009, Dallas was lead counsel to the Victims Group at the Cornwall Public Inquiry, which was established by the Province of Ontario to examine institutional responses to allegations of sexual abuse in Cornwall. Ledroit Beckett was the only law firm at the Inquiry approved by the province to act on behalf of victims of abuse.
Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Dallas attended the University of Ottawa where he obtained a Bachelor of Social Science with a double major in Political Science and Classical Studies. He then attended the University of Western Ontario where he earned a Bachelor of Laws in 2004.
He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005 and joined Ledroit Beckett after articling at one of Canada’s largest law firms.
Dallas has assisted with submissions at the McMurtry Victim Compensation Review and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, in which Ledroit Beckett, on behalf of its victim clients, sought to improve governmental and institutional responses to sexual abuse.
