Aaron Lealess
Aaron is articling with Ledroit Beckett over the 2008/2009 articling term and is expected to be called to the bar in 2009. Aaron joined Ledroit Beckett as a first year law student and has worked at the firm both full time and part time since 2006.
Aaron graduated with an honours degree in economics at McMaster University, where he was a member of the Dean’s Honour List and received multiple awards for academic achievement, including the Hunter Prize and Senate Scholarship. Aaron obtained his Bachelor of Law from the University of Western Ontario
in 2008.
While at Ledroit Beckett, Aaron has practiced civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance, commercial, and sexual abuse law. Aaron also gained experience in commercial litigation while summering at a large national firm in Toronto in 2007.
Aaron has served in the Canadian Forces as a Naval Reserve Officer since 2001, sailing on both the East and West Coasts of North America. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys ice hockey, outdoor adventures, and water sports of all kind.
