Allison is an associate at Ledroit Beckett.
Allison works exclusively in the personal injury group and, in particular, representing victims of sexual abuse. She is currently working full time on The Cornwall Public Inquiry, which is investigating the institutional response to allegations of sexual abuse in Cornwall. She has been seconded to the Inquiry since she joined Ledroit Beckett and will continue working on the Inquiry until late 2008, when the Inquiry is expected to finish after three years of full time hearings.
Originally from Alberta, Allison attended the University of Calgary where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta in 2006. She articled at an Alberta law firm before relocating to London and joining Ledroit Beckett in late 2007.
She is a member of the Alberta (2007) and the Ontario (2007) Bars.
Allison has extensive experience in helping victims, including victims of sexual abuse, having previously worked in the Victim Services departments of the Calgary police and the Red Deer RCMP.
